Main Bhi Madonna....

Hey dont worry... This is not what i am saying... This was what Baba Sehgal said during the 90's.... Does that sound Familiar.... Yes its none other than Iconic Indian Rapper Baba Sehgal (copied this line from wikipedia).... At an age when i didnt know the difference between Rap and folk... I could lay my hands upon the album named Main Bhi Madonna... (I didnt even know who Madonna was at that time).. It had a Crazy cover Pic... With baba Sehgal and person resembling madonna on his right side.. (and at the bottom it was written "These Legs are Authentically Baba's")... The Songs seemed awesome to me... And from then, i dont know how many times i might have listened to that album... I still am in possession of that album.... Man i love his style of Music.... And as it happens with most people.... Baba Sehgal had his days of Absolute Fame and unfortunately, we dont see him producing music these days.... But i know he's gonna make a big come back.... His Style of Music is really Crazy... With Lyrics which are crazier than the word Crazy Itself......

On the Independence Day ...

Hello people... This year, independence day was a special ocassion for me.... Today unlike the usual visit to my college, I went to the school where my mom works.... It was a good experience for me.... This is the first time i have ever visited a Government school at a village..... The moment i entered the campus on my vehicle.... They came around me and circled me and were looking at me as if i were a foriegner... The girls were giggling among themselves....;)

Then i went along with my mom into their office room.... And they were even peeping through the windows to take a look at me.... (I assure u that i am absolutely normal :D). Then the children were later assembled into a room.... And they were uncontrollable... It reminded me of the parliament...;) Then a set of students asked my mom to ask me to Sing a Song for them.... My mom asked me to sing stating that it will help silence them... Then i sang 2 hindi songs for them and as it was on Independence day.. I sang song from Lakshya and title track of Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani... And it was clear that they didnt have a Clue about what was coming out of my Mouth....

Then i tried to explain them what a computer was but i knew they werent ready for any serious stuff... So i stopped making any efforts of Cramming stuff into their Minds.... These were things they didnt care about... While the world is running after them.... They didnt care a speck about who Bill Gates was or what a computer was..... I sincerely feel that awareness levels should rise even in the government schools and they should be able to compete with students passing out from the Corporate schools where their Dads Pay Fat Amounts......

VIK's (Very Important Kids)

Recently, i got to visit a event organised by some private organisation, where, i could take a few snaps of some very important kids.... Yup.... Police officers, Naval officers, and even Swami Vivekananda..... We also have Gods like Rama, Krishna posing to my camera..... Spidey is Back, Doctor present .......Interesting fact is that they arent just wearing those costumes, they even are acting like them.... And when posed questions, they have been answering assuming their roles.....

Interesting to see how children learn from others... And Lets hope, the influence of such great people does lie in their minds till their end of life............

EGO..........

What impression do we get when we hear that a person is egoistic.... This gives us a very negative image of a person.... Ego has not been considered to be a virtue of a man, it was considered not to be good........ But one of the meanings of ego also is self consciousness, which will make the person work for his development, his zeal to be important will make him work for it and improve that person....... Usually, this leads to the improvement, if he is part of a organisation, because we always hear that the growth of the company or an organisation lies in the hands of all the people who constitute the organisation.......So growth of an individual will lead to growth of the organisation......... This raises questions about Team work.....

AYN RAND in her book Anthem stresses the concept of individuality or I. According to Rand, the individual "must exist for his own sake, neither sacrificing himself to others nor sacrificing others to himself. The pursuit of his own rational self-interest and of his own happiness is the highest moral purpose of his life." This questions the concept of Leadership and the concept of team work, which are of higher relevance these days........

"Controversy" Raining Cats and Dogs on Indian TV shows.

Its true...... The route to instant success has always been controversy.... Its been proven many times before, may it be in the case of fardeen, who was caught drug trafficking...... Or Salman when he was involved in hunting...... This really enhanced their image....... Because they became more famous since those happenings..... Consider the recent case of Shilpa Shetty as well...

Coming to the Indian Telivision, there are controversies between the actors anyway..... But guess what the Reality shows seem to have these Controversies as a part of their script...

Yes i truly beleive that whatever happens during these reality shows has been planned previously... I mean whatever drama that runs during these shows.... Lets consider Indian Idol 1 and the current one, at that time, the judges seem to have their own opinions, but there were not contriversies among them... It was only the participants who were made to act according to the Script.... But Now, even the judges seem to be having their share of the Drama... Coz every now and then, we see them becoming the centre of the controversy... Consider Anu Malik... Or Himesh of Zee Saregamapa... These Controversies have been paving path for the success of these shows, because people seem to be enjoying this.........

Spiderman kissed.............

Its summer time, Kids having holidays......... So time to go out......... Where would you go....... Obviously to a movie........ and the next thing parents look for is a movie for the children to watch and enjoy....... And they look for such a movie and to their utter satisfaction, they find that spider man 3 is screening in a near by theatre. So thats it......... Its an interesting movie with lotsa action (Spidey style)..... Kids and adults enjoy that equally.... But just consider the impact the movie might have on the kids..... Spidey's style of kisssing..... Hmm interesting.......... But what about the kids who watch that.... When i was at an age of 6 or 7, i never knew what kissing was. But these days... it aint no surprise to kids...... So why wouldnt u expect the rate of Premarital sex to increase...... and the crime rate to increase..... Kids like watching action movies.... Lotsa Guns, chases, fights...... Kids grow with a fantasy to them and obviously they would have a passion to do such stuff, this does impact the society a great deal.......
